Monday, October 5

2:35 - 7:00

While most people are aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.  A lot of progress has been made through fund raising campaigns and research, but there is still a long way to go and we need your help!

The Bedford High School Girls’ Freshman, JV, and Varsity VOLLEYBALL teams are hosting a "Dig Pink" Bake Sale Fundraiser  on Monday, October 5th starting @ 2:35 in Bulldog Corner.  We are looking for support from the Bulldog student body to come out and support the Girls’ cause through this bake sale.  The Volleyball teams will be also be selling baked goods during all three games in the Bulldog Gym on Monday.  All money raised will go to the Lynda’s Kause Charity.  Thank You!  (Lynda's Kause Inc. is a non-profit charity. Their mission is to address, educate, coordinate, and provide funding to ongoing metastatic research and fund support care-groups for metastatic patients. With less than 2% of all monies raised for breast cancer research going towards finding a cure for metastatic disease, Lynda vowed to make a change.  In her final year, her journey took flight when she launched Lynda’s Kause Inc. to help raise money to fund metastatic cancer research and patient support.)
