ALPINE SKI
The boys and girl skiers had an outstanding day on Crotched Mountain!

WRESLTING vs. Keene
The wrestling team improved their record to 2-1 with a win over Keene in the first home match of the year.  Several Bulldogs recorded pins to power Bedford to a 45-34 win.  The turning point of the match came in the 182lb match when senior David Spencer recorded a pin to give Bedford the lead half way through the match.  The Bulldogs also got pins from sophomore, Jonnie Redman at 120lbs, freshman Daniel Ethridge at 126lbs, Sophomore Will Theodore at 132lbs, sophomore captain AJ Pagliarulo at 138lbs, Junior Mason Adams at 145lbs, sophomore Luke Baretto at 160lbs and junior Chris Francis at 285lbs.  Freshmen Jack Carorozzi recorded a decision win at 113lbs to round out the scoring for Bedford.

The game was back and forth for most of the first half, and eventually Bedford took the lead in the second quarter and never gave it up.  They pushed through to get the win by 4 points.  Sophomore, Lily Bromley had a great defensive game as well as dominating the boards and freshman, Alli Morgan led scoring with 14 points.

Aly led all scorers with 15 points and Alexis finished just behind her with 14 points including 4 three pointers. Exeter kept Bedford on its toes all night with a very fast paced, frenetic full court defense and a very up-tempo offense.  JV came ready to play last night against Exeter on our home court.  They started off the game pressuring the ball and forcing turnovers, which created our lead early in the game. Exeter fought back and put up a great effort. Bedford dominated on the rebounds both offensively and defensively to not give any second chance shots. To lead the team was Sophomore, Sophia King and Freshman, Alli Morgan both with 10 points. The freshman Bulldogs picked up their second win of the season in Exeter Tuesday night. The game was back and forth until Bedford took charge in the 4th quarter. Abbey Gilligan and Katie Hirnak were outstanding on defense, while Shreya Sharma and Olivia Stavropoulos added key rebounding.  Zoë Michaud was the team's leading scorer with 17 points.  Another wonderful team effort.

GREAT EFFORT

CONGRATULATIONS
Girls’ Varsity BASKETBALL vs. BG
Bedford finished on top of this rematch of last year’s state championship.  After a hard fought defensive first half that saw many missed shots on both sides, the score was tied at 16 each.  The third quarter had both teams finding their offensive game and after a few lead changes, BG was up by 5 shortly into the fourth quarter due to a very aggressive full court press.  Once Bedford figured out the press, the girls settled down and were able to connect on some shots to regain the lead.  In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs were 13-18 from the foul line to seal the victory. Jenoyce Laniyan led the Bulldogs with 12 points, followed by Aly Fillion with 10.  Ten Bulldogs scored in the victory!

GREAT EFFORT
Girls’ Freshman and JV BASKETBALL vs. BG
The freshman Bulldogs were in action last night. The team traveled to Bishop Guertin for their season opener. Despite a wonderful team effort, BG took the win. Zoë Michaud was the teams leading scorer with 8 points; Hannah Mikol added 2 and went 3 for 4 at the foul line. Good game played by all.

JV Bulldogs had their first road game at BG. The girls came out strong, never stopped fighting, and gave it everything they had. There is much to take and learn from this game, which we will use to get ready for our next game on Friday. Freshman Alli Morgan led the Bulldogs with 11 points with Quinn Allen to follow with 10 points.
