Freshman FOOTBALL vs. Merrimack
The newly minted Freshman Bulldog’s faced off against a determined Merrimack Tomahawks in their season opener in the bulldog stadium. The Bulldog’s victory was a full team effort and powered by outstanding running by running back’s Jack Grogan and Mike Akstin who scored 3 outstanding touchdowns. The bulldog passing game led by QB Nathaniel Frederick constantly helped move the bulldog offense up and down the field with strong passes to Jack Jones and Tim Green and a 25 yard bullet TD pass to receiver Joey Leary for another bulldog TD. The bulldog offense was anchored by an a strong offensive line led by center Charlie Kneissl-Williams, lineman Chris Gailtley, Colby Martle, Drew Allard, and Peter Falvey.  Strong defensive play was delivered by Tim Green, Drew Allard, Ryan Bobotas, Jack Jones,  Ethan Van Heerdan, Trevor Soden and more. The bulldog special teams came through with great kick offs and pat kicks by Ryan Bobotas. All around a great effort and great team win to kick off the Freshman Bulldog season.
