BHS Athletics

Mr. Whitmore and Mrs. Romano express warm wishes to all of you during this special time of season.  Enjoy your family and friends.  Cherish joyful memories.  Be grateful and the example of everything good.

BASKETBALL hosting Londonderry in the Bulldog Gym

Varsity ICE HOCKEY vs. Bishop Guertin
The Varsity Bulldog hockey team tied the cardinals 3-3.  Bedford scored first, but BG came back in the second period with 2 goals.  Bedford tied the game early in the third period, but BG put themselves back on top a minute later in the game.  Bedford answered with a late 3 period goal to tie the game and bring the game into overtime.  Both teams had their chances, but good goal-tending ended OT in a tie.  Griffin Gagne had all 3 of Bedford's goals with assists coming from Jay Roberto, Jake Rioux, and Chase Vaillancourt.  The team will be skating at the JFK in Manchester over the Christmas Holiday.

The boys and girl skiers had an outstanding day on Crotched Mountain!

The wrestling team improved their record to 2-1 with a win over Keene in the first home match of the year.  Several Bulldogs recorded pins to power Bedford to a 45-34 win.  The turning point of the match came in the 182lb match when senior David Spencer recorded a pin to give Bedford the lead half way through the match.  The Bulldogs also got pins from sophomore, Jonnie Redman at 120lbs, freshman Daniel Ethridge at 126lbs, Sophomore Will Theodore at 132lbs, sophomore captain AJ Pagliarulo at 138lbs, Junior Mason Adams at 145lbs, sophomore Luke Baretto at 160lbs and junior Chris Francis at 285lbs.  Freshmen Jack Carorozzi recorded a decision win at 113lbs to round out the scoring for Bedford.

JV Girls' BASKETBALL vs. Londonderry
The girls had a tough game against Londonderry. The game was back and forth for most of the first half, and eventually Bedford took the lead in the second quarter and never gave it up.  They pushed through to get the win by 4 points.  Sophomore, Lily Bromley had a great defensive game as well as dominating the boards and freshman, Alli Morgan led scoring with 14 points.
