Boys' Freshman SOCCER vs. Exeter 
The team never stopped playing and they supported each other and gave 110% to the final whistle.

Freshman FOOTBALL vs. Pinkerton
The Freshman Bulldog’s faced off against a tough Pinkerton Astros Freshman team at home. The Bulldog offense ground out a tough running game with great running by Tim Greene and Jack Grogan all behind the Bulldog offensive line anchored by center Charlie Kneissel-Williams, linemen Zach Barnard, Tory Helton, Pete Falvey, and Drew Allard. The Bulldog defense also did well stopping a fast Pinkerton offense. Strong defensive play was delivered by Joey Leary, Nick Merchant, Jack Jones, Drew Allard, Tory Helton, Trevor Soden, and Ethan Van Heerdan. With the Bulldog’s leading 8-6 the whole game, a key turn over and missed block in the last 4 minutes of the game turned the tide for Pinkerton to take the win.

Bulldogs scored 2 goals in the 1st half by Grace Rooney and Emily O’keefe and finished the 2nd half with a pair of goals by senior captain Anne Marie Manella. Senior goalie Paige Noble played another great game in goal allowing only one goal on 9 shots.

Boys' and Girls' CROSS COUNTRY vs. Concord
The girls finished second at NHTI with a score of 29 points, losing to Concord by just10 points. Top scorers for the Bulldogs include: Caroline Mahoney (2), Delaney Flanagan (4), Elizabeth Mailhot (6), Niamh Russell (8), and Kaitlyn Boles (9). In total, the girls’ team saw fourteen personal bests and five season bests. Congratulations to the boys team for placing second overall. The majority of the team set personal records.

Tori Pratt received a through ball to lead to a breakaway. Tori also took a shot from the right side at the 6 yard box and another goal scored off a through ball to the upper right corner. Ellie Flynn took a shot from 30 yards out-over the keeper’s head and also scored off a breakaway. Goal and assist by Tori Pratt received a through ball from Ellie Flynn. Emma Danes received a crossed ball from the right side, scoring at the back post. Sarah Cote took a shot directly at the back post from the right side. Kyla Florian scored off a free kick from 35 yards over the keeper’s head.

Boys and Girls CROSS COUNTRY @ Manchester Invitational
James Nash led the way for the boys' setting a personal career record! The girls' finished 8th in the large school race out of 33 teams, top 5 for NH. Top scorers were: Leya Salis (2nd), Caroline Mahoney (27th), Delaney Flanagan (58th), Kimmy Fountain (63rd), and Elizabeth Mailhot (76th). Other notable performances include the freshman team which placed 4th overall.

Freshman FOOTBALL vs. Goffstown
The Bulldog offense executed well behind an effective offensive line anchored by center Charlie Kneissel Williams, linemen Zach Barnard, Drake Tomkinson, Tory Helton, Pete Falvey, and Drew Allard.  The Bedford running backs were busy with outstanding runs by Jack Grogan and Tim Greene who had 4 rushing touchdowns and one rushing extra point.  Quarterback Nathaniel Frederick threw for 2 passing TD’s to Joey Leary and an extra point conversion pass to Joey Leary.   Leary along with fellow receiver Jack Jones had numerous catches throughout the game.  The Bulldog defense also did well stopping a tough Goffstown offense.  Strong defensive play was delivered by Nick Merchant, Chris Gaitley, Trevor Soden, and Ethan Van Heerdan who had a nice interception in the 3rd quarter.

In preparation to for the Winter Sports season Eric Gelinas, our Athletic Trainer with Safe Sports Network is offering an option for BHS Winter Athletes (except Indoor Track) to take their mandatory C3logix test, which is the balance test portion that is additionally required now for athletes to take.

Athletes that participated last Spring (except Outdoor Track) and who are participating in sports this Fall (except Cross Country) have already taken their balance test do not need to sign up.

CONGRATULATIONS

Varsity and JV FIELD HOCKEY vs. Manchester Central
Paige Noble played a great game in goal stopping 9 shots as Bedford scored to tie the game on a penalty shot by senior captain Anne Marie Mannella. BHS thought they went ahead on a corner shot in the second half, only to have the goal called back. Having 13 girls on the varsity team, the girls ran the entire night and through an OT Period and pushed hard but ended in a 1-1 tie.  
The First JV Goal was scored in the first half on a Corner by Hailey Moores assisted By Danielle Lucey. Second goal was scored by Caroline Scott in the Second Half. Everyone played very hard and are really imporving! I am so proud of our girls!
