BHS Athletics

Fall Sports Paperwork ALL athletes who are participating in a Fall season sport should’ve already submitted their paperwork (along with a current physical exam) to the Athletic Department.  If an athlete didn’t receive an Emergency Medical Form back with an approved stamp on it when they hand delivered their sports paperwork - they cannot tryout in August. Athletes that don't have their stamped approved form (given to coaches on the first day of tryouts /practice) need to contact Mrs. Romano via Email at romanoj@sau25.net  Paperwork must be hand-delivered into the Athletic Department ... Do Not Drop-Off.

GREAT EFFORT
BASEBALL Runner-Up in the NHIAA DI Championship
In the State Championship, the Bulldog’s 7th inning rally fell one hit short of tying the game after 4 runs were scored with one out in the top of the 7th.  Grant Lavigne and Liam Greene each collected a double and a single.  Joseph Quintal, Manny Ray, Nick Gelinas, and Cooper Anibal battled on the mound, but multiple clutch hits by Exeter were too much to overcome.

I am proud of the way these kids performed last Friday night.  It is a stressful 4 hours with teams and athletes scoring or losing points in unexpected ways, but the Bedford boys did a great job of focusing on their event.  Almost every single one of them did their job.  We were originally seeded to place 5th with only a small number of points coming from a few individuals.  After a fantastic night, the boy's came in 3rd place behind the dominating Nashua North and Pinkerton teams.  We look forward to regrouping and making a run for a state championship next year.
