JV SPIRIT Astro Blast Competition placed First!

Freshman Bulldogs were on the road Friday night.  The girls traveled to Pinkerton Academy where they picked up one more victory to close out the season at 10-3.  Bedford demonstrated selfless play and worked very hard on both ends of the court. 8 out of 10 players contributed points offensively.  A great way to end a wonderful season!

Varsity boys won a close game 68 to 67.  Max Chartier hit the game-winning shot with 2 seconds to go to win the game for the Bulldogs. Pinkerton went ahead by one point with 7 seconds left in the game before the shot by Chartier.  BHS was led by Max Chartier with 19 points, Liam Greene had 15, Nolan Anderson had 11, Nick Mokas had 9, and Connor Crowley came off the bench with 8 points in the first half.  BHS improves its record to 13 and 2.  Junior Varsity improved its record to12-3 with a win against a very good Pinkerton team.  Harrison LeGoullon led the charge with 14 points followed by Liam O'Connell with 9 and Conor O'Connell with 8. Tim Greene and Justin O'Neill played a big part in the win!

Sophia Dobrowski placed 2nd in the GS and Slalom.  Tori Pratt placed 5th in the GS.   Bedford placed second in the GS in the morning and first in the Slalom in the afternoon.

It was a spectacular day, the weather was great, and Bedford skied their hearts out at Plymouth High School in the NHNCA Skate race.  Kudos to Michael Giraldi and Abigail Vikstrom for making it to the Eastern High School Championships.  They will be a part of Team New Hampshire and compete against all of the other New England States on March 17, 18 and 19 in Chittenden, VT.  Sofia Anderson is the “Thank You” Champion!  Word is one of the Bow coaches came over after the racing was done and said how polite Sofia was during the race, urging on her fellow competitors while she herself was racing.  Top girls were: Abigail Vikstrom, Molly Quinn, Maddie Beaton; and Julia Letourneau.  Top boys were: Michael Giraldi, Jake DeAngelis, James Nash, and Drew Fessenden.

Captain AJ Pagliarulo for winning the 132lb weight class!  Other place winners for Bedford were freshman Jack Carrozzi 3rd at 113lbs, freshman Daniel Ethridge 4th at 126lbs and junior Chris Francis 5th at 285lbs.  All place winners qualified for the Meet of Champions next Saturday.

The girls played hard as Pinkerton continued to hold the lead throughout the game; Alli Morgan with a team-high 10 points and Hannah McCarthy to follow with 7 points.
