Girls' BASKETBALL vs. Manchester Central
Freshman Bulldogs were caught in a back and forth battle at Central Tuesday night. After an awesome defensive outing, Bedford took the lead late in the forth quarter. The Bulldogs sealed the deal with two steals, which were converted on the offensive end to stretch the lead to 6 points. Olivia Stavropoulos lead the team in scoring with 10 points, while Ava Gaudette and Zoë Michaud both added 4. Another great team win to advance to 6-3 on the season.
JV girls with a win against Central last night. Central had great defense and rotated well, but the girls were able to adjust and find the open player. 10 out of 12 Bulldogs contributed in scoring, moving the ball and making sure everyone is getting touches, Sadie MacIver and Emma Rosenbaum both lead the team with 10 points and Lily Bromley followed with 8 points.
Varsity used balanced scoring from its starting five to beat Central 61-47. Central’s aggressive play kept the game close throughout but all 14 Bedford players saw action in the win. Jenoyce Laniyan led Bedford scorers with 13 points. Maddie Blake, Aly Fillion and Mia Roy each scored 11 points and Alexis Meservey had 8.

Fresh snow falling in the afternoon made for a tricky day of waxing at the Dublin Nordic Center and had everyone re-waxing up to the last minute. This was our second Classic race of the season and the results were solid once again with both boys and girls taking second in the team score. Top three girls were Abigail Vikstrom, Maddie Beaton and Molly Quinn. Top three boys were Michael Giraldi, Jake DeAngelis and James Nash. Next up is the New Hampshire Coaches Classic race on Saturday.
