CONGRATULTIONS
NORDIC SKI Capital Region Championship
What an absolute gorgeous day it was out there today.  We managed to get all 10 regular season races in and what a great way to end it.  For some it is bittersweet as it will be their last race on Team Bedford.  Coach is a little sad that he won’t get to see ALL of you continue to race.  On the positive side, we still have Team practice until March 14th.  Abigail Vikstrom finished 1st overall and now holds the title of Capitol Area Champion!  Congratulations!  Molly Quinn, Julia Letourneau, Maddie Beaton, Cate Withee, and Stephanie Ropes all made page 1 !!  WooHoo!  On the boy’s side Michael Giraldi came in 3rd followed by Jake DeAngelis, Drew Fessenden, Matthew Cassidy and Anthony Rainey.

GREAT EFFORT
Unified BASKETBALL vs. Londonderry
We honored our senior players Brett Cain, Natalie Kelly, and Paige Wallat with  a rose and acknowledgement to them and their parents at the start of the game.  Coach said that it was a very physical game that brought out the best in our entire BHS Unified Basketball players.  The Bulldogs fought till the end closing the gap by one point with the final 31-30 for the heartbreaking loss.  Brett Cain once again dominated the BHS baskets and had our high score with 26 points, Justin Tombs and Jamie Burroughs had 2 points each.  Our Peer partners did a fantastic job once again showing good sportsmanship against aggressive opponents.  Thanks to all our fans for cheering us on all season and for our generous parents for always supplying drink, snacks and a real treat of pizza today!  The team  members all pitched in to get special personalized cupcakes for the seniors and basketball decorated ones for our team and our opponents.   Thanks to our Bulldog mascot and the pep band who were terrific!  We are hopeful for a playoff slot and will know more soon!
