NORIDC SKI Meet of Champions 
Great day on the Proctor trails in Andover, NH.  The host spent many, many hours preparing the trails after Blizzard Stella dumped 18 inches of snow yesterday. This was our first try at a “ski-athlon."  Back to Back 3.1 km loop, first Classic, then a timed 3-minute break to switch skis, then Skate the same course over again.

CONGRATULATIONS
Unified BASKETBALL vs. Somersworth
It was a very exciting game that made our entire team work hard and show excellent teamwork. We were ahead the entire game until the last quarter when Somerworth tied the score 33 to 33 which pushed us into a 4 minute overtime.  That overtime ended in a tie of 35 to 35 to force a second overtime which ultimate ended with Somersworth winning by 1 point 39-38. Brett Cain scored 32 points and Justin Tombs added 6 pts.  Everyone gave 100% and we couldn’t be prouder of each and everyone’s contribution today and the entire season.  Our Peer partners did a fantastic job guiding our Athletes with great care and continued to  showing good sportsmanship against the very aggressive opponents.Thanks to all our fans for cheering us on all season. We look forward to Sports Awards night and Next season.

CONGRATULATIONS
Unified BASKETBALL vs. Manchester West in the NHIAA First Round of the Playoffs
It was a very physical game that once again brought out the best in our entire BHS Unified Basketball players.  We answered West's first basket; and then went ahead to stay ahead for the rest of the game with an impressive win with a final score of 39-22.  Brett Cain dominated and scored 33 points!  Matt Pennick had 4 points and Olivia Murry added 2 points. Our Peer partners did a fantastic job once again keeping showing good sportsmanship.  Thanks to all our fans for cheering us on!  We look forward to our second round game this Thursday at 5pm at Somersworth High School.  Go Bulldogs!!

Unified BASKETBALL hosting Manchester West in the Bulldog Gym for the NHIAA DI First Round of the Playoffs @ 5pm

CONGRATULATIONS
NORDIC SKI in the NHIAA Championship competition
It turned out to be a great sunny day at Great Glen today for the NHIAA Division I Championship. Outstanding results from Team Bedford.  The boys team finished second overall, and the girls team finished third overall.

Top 4 in the boys morning Classic race were: Michael Giraldi (3), James Nash (6), Jake DeAngelis (8), and Timmy Saltzman (14).
Top 4 in the girls morning Classic race were: Abi Vikstrom (3), Julia Letourneau (10), Maddie Beaton (13), and Molly Quinn (14).

Of note in the morning race was the third-place finish by Abi Vikstrom who beat Bishop Guertin’s Caroline Fischer by a mere 0.1 second.

Top 4 in the boys afternoon Skate race were: Michael Giraldi (1), Jake DeAngelis (5), James Nash (6), and Drew Fessenden (9).
Top 4 in the girls afternoon Skate race were; Abi Vikstrom (2), Molly Quinn (10), Maddie Beaton (13), and Julia Letourneau (14).

Of note in the afternoon boys race was the first-place finish by Michael Giraldi who edged out Concord’s Jaime Wilkes by 0.3 seconds.

Those that finished in the top 10 will now head to the Meet of Champions on March 14th where the cream of the crop in all four divisions will compete for one last time this season.  Seven from Team Bedford qualified which is awesome!

Congratulations to all racers and all of Team Bedford that came out to cheer their squad on!

CONGRATULATIONS
Girls' Varsity BASKETBALL vs. Winncunnet
Mia Roy led the Bulldogs to a 62-40 win over Winnacunnet in the Division I quarter finals. Mia’s leadership at point guard helped keep the Bulldogs in the lead throughout a tough first half.  In the third quarter, Bedford outscored Winnacunnet 16-5 to open up a comfortable lead.  All 14 players saw action for Bedford. Jenoyce Laniyan led all scorers with 16 points.  Mia Roy and Alexis Meservey scored 9 apiece and Aly Fillion and Maddie Blake followed with 7 points each.  Bedford plays Pinkerton on Thursday at SNHU in the semifinals.

Varsity Boys' BASKETBALL improved it's record to 14 and 3 with a convincing victory over Trinity.  Max Chartier led a very balanced scoring attack for BHS with 18 points.  Nolan Anderson and Troy Meservey had 15 and 13 respectively.  The Bulldogs finished their regular season with a victory over Bishop Guertin. BHS ended their season with a record of 15 and 3, and earned a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Bedford had very balanced scoring again. Troy Meservey led BHS with 21 points. Max Chartier had 18, and Liam Greene and Nolan Anderson each had 12.

Boys' JV BASKETBALL
Harrison LeGoullon lead Bedford with 16, Conor O'Connell followed with 11 and Tim Greene chipped in with 9 against BG. The boys improved their record to 14-3.  JV Tournament BHS defeated Spaulding and Alvirne to advance to the semi finals against number 1 seeded Winnacunett. The team put out a tremendous effort, but fell short in the semifinals against Winnacunett who was a very strong team.  Coach is very proud of the these Bulldogs! Team record 17/4.

JV Girls' BASKETBALL 
The girls ended there season in a great battle against BG in the JV Tournament, it was a great game from start to finish.  They left everything on the floor, nothing more as a coach I could have asked for. Hannah McCarthy with a team high13 points, Alli Morgan to follow with 9 points and Sophia King contributed 7 points.

WRESTLING
Two members of the wrestling team participated in the New England Wrestling Championships this past weekend in Providence, RI.  Congratulations to sophomore captain, AJ Pagliarulo who became the first sophomore in program history to place at the tournament with a 6th place finish at 132lbs!
