CONGRATULATIONS
Varsity BASEBALL vs. Timberlane
In Timberlane, the bats were silenced on both sides by excellent pitching.  Cooper Anibal collected a hit and threw 5 innings striking out 9 and allowing 0 runs.  Nick Gelinas received the win after throwing 1 1/3 innings, while Tim Saltzman earned the save.  Bedford scored its run on a dropped third strike and a past ball.

GREAT EFFORT
Freshman BASEBALL vs. Pinkerton
The Freshman Baseball team rallied late to take the game to extra innings, but in the end, found themselves on the wrong side of the scoreboard.  Ethan St. Hilaire (2-3, 2 Runs, 2 BBs) paced the team out of the leadoff spot at the plate.  Jack Jones threw five solid innings in relief on the mound striking out 4 while giving up two runs.

CONGRATULATIONS
Freshman BASEBALL vs. Londonderry
On the mound, Nick Douidi and Jack Jones combined to throw a 3-hitter while striking out 5 and walking 4.  Silas Forcier lead the offense at the plate by getting on base 3 times (2-2, BB).  He also lead the charge on defense by throwing out 2 of 3 would be base stealers. Douidi and Colby Martel both hit timely doubles in the game.

Boys' OUTDOOR TRACK vs. Londonderry
Great day for the few Bedford Boy's that were able to attend the meet.  We saw several new school/freshmen records broken and are set-up for a fantastic day at the D-1 State meet next Friday.  Standout performances:

  • Zach Verow - 400m - 52.23 - Freshmen Record
  • Aidan Kenny - 400m - 51.84 - 4th place
  • Mike Giraldi - 400m - 49.69 - School Record
  • Mike Giraldi - 200m - 22.46 - School Record

GREAT EFFORT
Boys' Freshman LACROSSE vs. Concord
Freshman Lax faced off against Concord at home and played solid lacrosse maintaining the lead throughout most the game. However, Concord staged a comeback in the 4th qtr to tie the game and take it into over time. Ultimately, Concord scored the winning goal winning the game. The Bulldogs saw 3 players score including Jack Grogan with 4 goals, 1 goal by Cam Wazlyak, and 2 goals by Alex Bleakly. The Bulldog defense did a great job holding Concord to limited points until the last quarter. Despite the loss, there was solid goal keeping by Cullen Steward and tough defense by Phil Rapp, Charlie Kneissel Williams, Eric Jamison, Scot Landis, Sam Tynan, Ryan Bobotas, Alex Luders Andrew Avalone, and more. Strong offensive play by Brian Greer, Jason Beagle, Wil Detscher, Connor Lebreque, DJ Martinuae, Matt Cosio and more.

Varsity SOFTBALL vs. Nashua South
In Nashua, the Bulldogs Maddie Fraitzl pitched a 5 hitter, had two doubles, a single and scored 2 runs as the Bulldogs beat Nashua South 14 to 3. Jacque Harrington went 5 for 5, Erin Murphy had 3 doubles, a single and scored 3 runs. Hannah Thompson had a 3 RBI triple in the 6 to put the game out of reach.

WP: Ray (4-0)   In Bedford, Connor Collins led the way for the Bulldogs with a 3 RBI on a double and inside the park HR.  Grant Lavigne, Liam Greene, and Nick Mokas also collected one RBI, while Tyler Mednikoff’s 6th inning triple gave the Bulldogs a much needed insurance run.  Manny Ray picked up his 4th win of the season, striking out 6, while Nick Gelinas earned a 2 inning save.  Six different South hitters collected a hit.

The Freshman Baseball Team’s bats came alive yesterday, exploding for 17 hits.  Scott Gauthier (3-4), Nick Douidi (4-5, 6 RBIs), Silas Forcier (3-3), Alex Douidi (3-3) and Ethan St. Hilaire paced the team at the plate.  On the mound, Nolan Stoney (W) and Jack Jones kept BG off balance by striking out 5 while allowing 1 run.

An undefeated season and many first-placed finishes and new school records by Mollie Redman in triple jump and Shanna Scribner in the discus.

Varsity BASEBALL vs. Merrimack
WP: Quintal (4-0) 
In Merrimack, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the 2nd inning and never looked back.  Ryan Lee paced Bedford with 3 hits, while Cooper Anibal and Joey Barrett added two hits apiece.  Joseph Quintal, Nick Gelinas, and Tim Saltzman kept the Tomahawks at bay on the mound.
