BASEBALL vs. Nashua North
WP: Anibal (1-0).  In Bedford, Connor Collins 4th inning 2 RBI triple gave the Bulldogs the needed offense to defeat North.  Seven Bulldogs collected a hit with Cooper Anibal and Grant Lavigne each collecting an RBI.  Anibal threw 6 innings allowing 2 hits while striking out 10.

GREAT EFFORT and Results from Tuesday

Freshman BASEBALL vs. Spaulding
Peter Hamil pitched 4 solid innings on the mound, and Nick Douidi, Alex Douidi, and Jack Jones all had multi-hit performances at the plate.  Ultimately, Spaulding walked off in the bottom of the 7th with the win after some untimely walks and errors for the Bulldogs.

Jacque Harrington had 2 doubles and a HR. Scored 3 runs.

Maddy Lucontoni scored 3 runs, had a single and drew 2 walks
Defensive play of the game –Jacquelyn Harrington had a strong game at SS
In the Junior Varsity win over Memorial, offensively Bedford hit the ball well and ran the bases aggressively. Elise Buchanan hit 2 doubles. Brielle Gardiner had a double to contribute. Caroline Rankins with a triple in the 4th moved around players in this 5 run inning.  Solid defense from Erin Beaudoin in centerfield held Memorial to 9 runs.

Boys' Freshman LACROSSE vs. Alvirne

The Freshman Lax faced off against Alvirne and played solid lacrosse to earn their first team victory. The Bulldogs saw 6 players score including Jack Grogan with 2 goals, Cam Wayzlak with 1 goal, Brian Greer with 1 goal, Jack Holland with 1 goal, Sam Caruso with 3 Goals and Jason Beagle with 1 Goal. Nathaniel Frederick won all of his face-offs. The Bulldog defense did a great job holding Alvirn to only 3 points with great goal keeping by Cullen Steward and tough defense by Phil Rapp, Charlie Kneissel Williams, Scot Landies, Nathaniel Frederick, Sam Tynan, Eric Jamison, Alex Luders and more.  All players participated throughout the game and now the Freshman Bulldogs look forward to a 2 week break.

Varsity BASEBALL vs. Manchester Memorial

Joey Barrett and Grant Lavigne’s 2 RBI hits in the 5th broke open the game in a 4th inning 5 run outburst that supplied all the Bulldog’s runs.  Geoff Mosseau threw 5 1/3 innings striking out 6 and allowing 4 hits.  Nick Gelinas finished things on the mound.

CONGRATULATIONS to Bulldog Teams Over the Weekend

Varsity BASEBALL vs. Keene 
In Keene, the bulldogs rallied for 8th in the top of the 5th as they mercy ruled the black birds 13-2.  Nick Mokas led the charge with 3 hits including 2 doubles and 4 RBI.  Connor Zendzian also collected 3 hits while Grant Lavigne added a HR and a triple to go with 2 RBI. Manny Ray went the distance on the mound throwing 5 innings striking out 4.

Keene started off with one run in the first inning and then Bedford was able to hold them there throughout.  An in the the park home run by Whitney Fitzgerald in the second half of the game helped the game only go to 5 innings.

On Thursday, April 13 Bedford Varsity FOOTBALL NHIAA DI State Champions were honored with a VIP invitation from New Hampshire State Governor Chris Sununu to attend the New England Patriots' Super Bowl LI Lombardi Trophy viewing at the State House. Varsity Head Coach, Derek Stank and the players that could attend had a great time! Enjoy the memories ... Go BULLDOGS!

In Bedford, seven Bedford Varsity hitters collected hits in a 9-3 win over Dover.  Grant Lavigne led the way going 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI.  Connor Zendzian collected two hits while Liam Greene also contributed two hits including a double.  LaChance for Dover crushed an RBI double off the fence to pace Dover.  Joseph Quintal earned his first win going 4 innings on the mound allowing 2 runs.  Geoff Mosseau and Nick Gelinas supplied solid relief.

Bulldogs faced off against Exeter and developed a 5-1 lead by the beginning of the 4th quarter with several players scoring, but due to penalties and mistakes, the Bulldogs allowed Exeter to come back to tie the game before time ran out.
